Excellent reaction..lol that is exactly what we are after.

Yes, the metal definately has an impact on the sustain and tone. It increases the sustain substantially and has this effect that separates each note. So you get a clear tone off of each string.

And it is a nice warmed tone.

The weight is just over 7lbs, same as a older tele.

Wow, that is crazy slick.  Are they heavy?  How does the metal impact sustain and tone?
